1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the MyRoomiz platform, including our website, mobile experience, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time, and we'll let you know about material changes before they take effect.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.

• Provide accurate information during registration
• Keep your password confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use

3. Listings & bookings

All listings must be accurate, lawful, and represent a property or arrangement the lister has the right to offer. MyRoomiz reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these Terms or our community standards.

Bookings made through the Service are subject to the specific terms shown on the listing at the time of booking, including cancellation and refund policies.

4. Payments & escrow

Where applicable, payments made through MyRoomiz are held in escrow and released to the host or seller according to our payment schedule — typically after check-in or an agreed milestone is confirmed.

We work with licensed payment partners to process transactions. MyRoomiz does not store your full card or bank details.

5. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes, without limitation:

• No fraudulent or misleading listings
• No harassment of other users
• No circumventing our escrow system
• No scraping or reverse-engineering the platform

6. Limitation of liability

MyRoomiz provides a platform to connect users and does not itself own, manage, or inspect every property listed. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyRoomiz is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable Nigerian law.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or to protect the safety of our community. You may close your account at any time from your account settings.
