Each shortlet host sets their own cancellation window, shown on the listing before you book. Full refunds are automatic if a host cancels on you.

Shortlets stay live indefinitely while their calendar has availability, so you can check back any time for new open dates.

For property sales, we charge a flat 1.5% success fee on the seller side — only when the deal closes through MyRoomiz Escrow. Listings themselves are free.

Every property-for-sale listing is reviewed by our team for accurate documentation and photos before it appears in search.

The listed price is the base annual rent. Any agency, agreement or caution fees are disclosed separately on the listing before you commit.

Student Apartment listings are aimed at students near a campus and often come furnished with shorter or session-based terms, while Regular Apartment listings follow standard annual leases. Use the "Student Apartment" rental audience filter when browsing For Rent listings to find these.

Yes — search by city and use the location filter to find rentals and roommate listings within walking or commuting distance of your school.

Yes — hotel hosts can add as many room types as they like to a single hotel listing, each with its own photos, amenities and rate.

Each room type shows its own cancellation window on the booking page. Refunds are processed automatically once a cancellation qualifies.

Both — general hotel amenities (like the front desk or pool) are shown at the property level, while each room lists its own specific amenities and rules.

We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks ahead for weddings and large events, though availability varies by venue — check the venue's calendar directly.

Yes, deposits and full payments can be made securely through MyRoomiz Escrow, with funds released to the venue per the agreed schedule.

Each venue lists its own rules — like approved vendors only or decoration guidelines — directly on the listing before you book.

Submit your CAC documents, agent ID, and three reference listings via the Agents portal. Verification usually takes 48 hours.

Verified listings get free top-of-search placement for the first 7 days. Beyond that you can purchase featured-listing boosts from ₦2,500 per week.

Yes — a unified inbox plus calendar lets you accept, decline, or counter offers, sync with your calendar, and export tax-ready statements.

Each tier increases how many active listings and featured slots you get, from a single free listing on Basic up to unlimited listings and priority placement on Premium. See the Subscription page for full details.

Funds are held securely by MyRoomiz until both sides confirm the deal is complete — for shortlets that's 24 hours after check-in, for sales it's at closing.

You can upgrade to a higher tier at any time from Account → Subscription. Downgrading isn't currently supported once you've moved to a higher plan.

No — all paid plans are a one-time payment for that tier, not a recurring subscription.

Prices are shown in your selected currency, and payments are accepted in Naira, USD, and other supported local currencies depending on your region.

Every shortlet and property-for-sale listing is reviewed by our team. Roommate profiles are verified with a government ID and selfie match before they appear in search.

We use AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS in transit, and never share your details with third parties without your consent. You can request a full data export or deletion at any time.

Use the Report option on any listing or profile page — our trust and safety team reviews every report within 24 hours.

Don't. Always pay through MyRoomiz Escrow — payments made outside the platform aren't covered by our protection or refund policies.

Absolutely. In-app messaging and one-tap video tours are included. We never expose phone numbers until both parties opt in.
